The high-capacity garden pumps AQUAJET PFN 3500, 5500, 7500 and 10000 are designed to pump water in garden ponds and ornamental ponds, fountains, cascades, and backyard swimming pools. They can also be used for other purposes, such as gardening, household works, agriculture, animal and fish farming, construction, etc. The pumps can operate in salt water.
Mode of operation
AQUAJET PFN pumps are driven by waterproof, low-maintenance synchronous motors. The ceramic rotor axis virtually does not wear, which guarantees a long life cycle of the pump. As a result of the use of ceramic rotor axes in AQUAJET PFN pumps, they are distinguished by exceptionally quiet operation. A big pre-filter protects the rotor against pollution As a result, the pumps do not require frequent cleaning. Thanks to the simple design, their maintenance will not cause any difficulty.
Note that although the pump may be fully submerged in the water or placed outside the water reservoir, it must always be positioned below the water level. In the event of rotor stoppage, inlet or outlet obstruction due to pollution, or dry running, the thermal switch installed in the pump will disconnect it from the mains until it cools. The pump will be switched back on automatically.
Despite its relatively small size, the pump ensures a high pump capacity and water head. This is due to the application of modern energy-efficient motors and high-quality gaskets under the rotor chamber, which reduce yield losses to a minimum.
The pump can be used in swimming pools, provided that there is nobody in the water. AQUAJET PFN pumps can only be used for liquids whose temperature does not exceed 35° C.
Cleaning the rotor slot once a month is sufficient. To prevent a drop in performance, clean the filter cartridge, rinsing it in water taken from the pond. It is important to use the pond water, as it does not destroy the bacterial flora in the sponge, thus maintaining the efficiency of biological filtration. The frequency of cartridge rinsing depends on the degree of water pollution and should be performed when a noticeable decrease in performance is observed.
AQUAJET PFN pumps are manufactured in conformity with the currently binding safety standards. The pump should only be connected to the mains via a protected plug-in socket. The plug-in socket must be located in a dry place. Before performing any maintenance works (e.g. assembly or cleaning), pull the plug out of the mains socket.
